We arrived in town very late that night. It was off-season, November 29, but they still answered the phone and offered us a really nice deal. We didn't want to put them out, though.

A gorgeous setting, and the Quinta was comfortable with everything we needed. We had the best time there.

The veranda views are jaw-dropping, and there are plenty of walks nearby with scenery just as striking. We loved our four nights at Pedro’s Quinta. Our big group found the separate houses really convenient, and fresh bread and pastries were left out first thing each morning. The kitchen was stocked with lots of useful extras, which made things comfortable. Liliana was a huge help with laundry and anything else we needed. Such a great find.

We had breakfast and dinner out on the terrace, looking over the River Douro and Douro valley. The views are stunning. Maria and Carlos made us feel very welcome, and the complimentary white port cocktails and Portuguese Custard tartlets were a lovely treat. We loved this quinta. Best in the area, and a wonderful holiday.

It's a beautiful mountain setting. The apartments aren't especially modern, but they're equipped really well for cooking your own meals. The owners' English isn't great, though the owner brought us some port while we relaxed by the pool.
