Quinta Da Estrada

Walking through the vineyard and taking a swim in the pool really added to our stay. Our room was lovely, clean, well equipped, and air-conditioned. The staff were friendly, and Luis, the owner, brought real passion and knowledge about wine and his vineyard to dinner. Quinta de estrada is in a stunning location and made for an absolutely incredible experience.

The wine tasting dinner was well worth the price. The vintner spent time sharing far more interesting information than you'd usually get at a tasting, and there was plenty to taste alongside a great meal. I also got to join the crew for grape picking, something I'd always wanted to do. The Quinta is quiet and peaceful, with lovely places to walk and hike. It's only a short drive from Regua, and the mountain and valley views are beautiful. The staff were amazing, responding quickly and kindly to every question or request. We'll be back!

Luis took us on a great tour, and the wine tasting with him was fun, informative, and really good. Everyone was kind, and we felt at home throughout our wonderful stay. Highly recommended. And rex is the cutest dog ever ❤️

I got back to Spain after three nights here on a solo trip with my dog, and liked it so much that I stayed an extra night. I moved from the Galinheiro to the Loft, which has a roof terrace, fridge, and microwave for making a small meal. Both rooms were fabulous, clean, and well equipped. I had dinner and a wine tasting one evening, then dinner again on my last night. My dog stayed in the room during dinner, though she could have come along if she couldn't be left alone. After the tasting she joined me, along with some other guests' dogs. Their families welcomed me to sit with them. The tasting was interesting and informative. My dog and I were made to feel extremely welcome, and she joined me for breakfast each morning. I also used the pool, walked around the vineyards, and relaxed outside with a book. Rex, the winery dog, is an old boy and no trouble at all. I'm vegan, and they catered for me very well. I went to Pinhao for a boat trip and to Regua for lunch. I can't wait to come back with my Mom.
