My partner and I were excited about our Booking.com reservation, but my father died the week before the trip and I had to change my plans to attend his funeral. I contacted the hotel several times to ask for a refund, even though I was past the cancellation deadline because of this extraordinary circumstance. They refused even a partial refund and charged the full amount, despite having almost a week to rebook the room. To me, that shows the people running this hotel put greed ahead of basic human decency. I don't think it's worth your money.

We booked through Booking. The place looks good, but the hot water wasn't stable, the AC wouldn't heat, and we woke to drilling at 07:00. The biggest problem was the WhatsApp conversation with the representative about the AC. We got no solution, and they stopped replying in the middle of the conversation. We're very disappointed with the place.

Customer service was excellent, with great communication and effort. The staff were very helpful in accommodating our requests, and Catarina in particular did an outstanding job.

There are no staff on-site. It's essentially a boutique hotel operated like an AirBNB, with a self-service setup. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, and the downtown location is great.
