Monturi Hostel

Aida and Vanessa at reception deserve special thanks for making my stay even better. Breakfast was well above average, with fresh fruit and vegetables, tasty strawberry yogurt, lots of local tea, and more. The hostel is brand new, and the attention to detail really stood out. The beds were comfortable, and the modern decor made the place feel cozy. Each guest gets two towels and a roomy personal locker operated by key card, plus a shelf under the bed for extra storage. There are two chairs in the room, and the modern bathroom was spotless with a strong flow of hot water. I also liked the numbered bathroom hooks, so it was clear which one belonged to each bed. Everything felt very clean and thoughtfully laid out.

Downtown Ponta Delgada is right outside, and the place is modern and clean. The private rooms are small but have private bathrooms, though they’re missing a fridge. Breakfast is included with an amazing range of choices, and the staff are so friendly. Amazing, five stars. I couldn’t have asked for a better place and will recommend it to everyone visiting the Azores.

The communal areas are well equipped, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, as advertised, but the beds are very comfortable. There aren’t coffee or tea facilities in the rooms, though you can make something in the shared kitchen if you have the ingredients. Breakfast was fine.

A handy base for a short stay before a flight. The beds and linens were comfortable, and each bed had its own TV. The space is divided into compartments, with air conditioning and a lift that makes luggage easier to manage. It felt new, modern, quiet, and very clean. The central spot is close to town, shops, restaurants, the waterfront, and transport. Staff were helpful, and the keyless entry and lockable storage make good use of technology. I highly recommend it.
