The location was the one real plus. The kitchen was poorly equipped, and cleanliness was a serious problem. The pans were covered in grease, mosquitoes were everywhere, there were ants by the door, and we even found cockroaches. On the day we arrived, there was a horrible rotten-fish smell. The freezer clearly needed a proper cleaning and airing out, because even after five days the smell was still there. They should take cleanliness more seriously, since it's one of the things that brings people back to book with them. We certainly won't be among them.

The apartment was clean, but the bedding was so poor that you'll be exhausted. It's damp and poorly ventilated, and after a week your clothes smell musty. Hot water is unreliable, and the gas boiler isn't very efficient. You're surrounded by apartment buildings. For the same price, I'd choose a charming place outside the city and rent a car at the airport.

Very bad experience. The mold smell was deep in everything, even the bedding, despite being in the Azores. Not suitable for babies. We had to leave before our stay ended because the baby was having allergic reactions, but they didn't refund the money. When I emailed to ask for some understanding, they were very rude.

The cleanliness was disappointing, and the one-bedroom apartment had no Wi-Fi. From what I saw in other reviews, this had been going on for a while. At the front desk they said the connection wasn't working properly, but that I could use Wi-Fi in the other apartments. There was no signal there either. We called several times. Someone answered the first call, then they just hung up on us the next time.
