You’re right in the heart of Ponta Delgada, and there’s plenty of paid parking nearby. The next street over also has free parking until 8 a.m. It’s a beautiful hotel, with a shared space for cooking and a lounge to hang out in. The staff are easygoing and there when you need something. Excellent.

A lovely little hotel in central Ponta Delgada. I had a spacious, comfortable room, number 4, and the staff were welcoming. Getting in was easy, and it was great value. I hope I can return. Obrigado, Hannibal and friends!

The location was convenient, with shops and supermarkets within walking distance. There’s no parking at the hotel, but a free lot is about a 10-minute walk away. In February, parking there was fine, though I can't say how it would be in high season. The hotel has a simple kitchen that's open during staff working hours. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, towels were changed and it was cleaned daily, and the bed was comfortable. There was enough space for two, but I think four people would be cramped. My room was noisy, and the bathroom was tiny: the shower barely fits one person and is very low. The water was completely cold on a few days and only a little warm on others, which really upset me. It could have been a good hotel, but the bathroom ruined it for me.

My mother is ill and has to cancel her upcoming booking. Even with a hospital note saying she's under their care and can't travel, the hotel will NOT refund her stay. That's unacceptable and unprofessional. I'm very disappointed.
