I booked four nights at first, then added another five. The location worked really well for getting around the island: the waterfront bus stops are about a five-minute walk away, and there's free parking nearby if you have a car. There are also plenty of affordable restaurants close by, including a great burger place below the hostel. Breakfast is included and substantial, with enough to make sandwiches, plus fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. The shared kitchen and other common spaces are comfortable and useful. The host is thoughtful and keeps things clean, and guests can do laundry there. Wi-Fi was reliable, and I never had to wait for a bathroom or shower. There are at least three across the two floors.

The location is amazing, and the cleaning was a 10. Martin runs Martins hostel with so much care, and he bakes cakes for breakfast every morning. He's the best host. He even took us to the airport. Martin, thanks for everything! We'll come back to visit you 😊

Martinez was so helpful and flexible about what we needed during our stay at Bruma Hostel. We had an excellent time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Ponta Delgada.

The owner really cares about the people staying here and is amazing. Breakfast each morning was great, the hostel felt secure, and the spacious rooms have privacy curtains. The lockers use automated locks, and the showers are super clean. It's in a local area, and the airport taxi runs make getting there easier. One of the best hostels I've stayed in. I'll definitely be back!

Everything felt calm and well looked after, and the bathroom was spotless. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the host welcomed me warmly. I had a great stay. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!
