Ana, Jorge and Diogo made the trip wonderful, and the welcome gift was a lovely way to feel at home. Our booking agent had got the early check-in request wrong, and we were travelling with our fourteen month old grandson after an overnight flight. Diogo did his best to get us in before check-in time so we could all rest and recover. We were so grateful, and the communication was stellar. The apartment is spacious and has everything for a short or longer stay, including closets and cupboards for our things. There are plenty of utensils, pots and pans for cooking. We bought a small bottle of olive oil, milk and a few other things, and there are markets around the corner. They provide plenty of supplies, including beach towels for the beach or hot springs. Since we stayed over a week, someone came to freshen the bathrooms and leave clean towels. We’d never had that feature in other rentals and were thrilled. The hair dryer was amazing, and there’s also an iron and board, drying rack and cleaning supplies. We travelled with a baby, so the crib and high chair were useful. There was plenty of room for all five of us, and we never felt cramped. Each section has its own door, which was handy with a roaming toddler, and the balconies have just the right railings. Secure parking was available, and the elevator made it easy to bring our suitcases up. The location is near the city center and plazas, with lots of places for a cappuccino or something to eat if you don’t want to drive. We loved the apartment. It felt like home away from home, and we plan to return next year.

Everything in the apartment felt modern and beautifully furnished, with plenty of space and a very high standard of cleanliness. We could walk to lots of shops and restaurants, and the town centre was close by. The host was attentive and flexible too. I'd happily stay here again on our next trip to Sao Miguel.

We really liked the apartment and where it was. There's a car rental place nearby, which costs less than renting at the airport.
