Hostel Matriz 55

The hosts made us feel right at home and were so welcoming. There’s a cosy shared space where everyone can hang out, even though we stayed in a private room. Our room was modern and very clean, and the location worked well for exploring the city. Breakfast with local products was nice too. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in.

Thank you, Pedro and Susana! We’ll definitely be back. The hostel is in an unbeatable spot, with newly renovated, immaculate rooms, air conditioning if you need it, and private bathrooms. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Best hostel stay I’ve ever had, by far.

The hosts were the highlight for us. Susanna and Pedro were incredibly gracious and helpful with planning our trip. We came with a school group, and they handled it all flawlessly. The hotel has been redone recently, and everything feels lovely and new. Rooms were clean, the beds really comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. It’s close to everything in Pte. Delgado.

Pedro & Susana were the best part of our stay. They’re such a sweet, knowledgeable couple, kept checking that we had what we needed, and shared their expertise about the islands. We booked the whole hostel for our school group from the US, and the modern place felt really cosy. The common area was lovely, breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were big. Can’t wait to come back someday!
