Marina Lounge Hostel

Antonio looked after us like we were his personal guests. He arranged a rental car and, over breakfast each day, suggested a plan for sightseeing and hiking. Thanks to his help, we saw so many beautiful places. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and the hostel itself was clean, tidy, and well organized. It’s very close to the port and city swimming pools. Choosing this hostel was the best decision, and if we return to the Azores, we’ll definitely stay again. Highly recommend it!

Street noise is the one downside, though Antonio provides earplugs to help with it. He’s a great host who makes a wonderful breakfast, answers questions, and arranges airport transport and car rental. He also marks out places to visit on an island map and explains the order to see them in. A unique place, go enjoy it!

The rooms and bathroom were very clean, and the atmosphere felt familiar and welcoming. Antonio runs the hostel with a big heart and is very helpful with planning activities and sightseeing around the island. His homemade baked treats at breakfast make for a perfect start to the day.

Antonio made the stay especially easy, helping with ideas for what to see on the island, when to go, what not to wear in white, and arranging taxis, cars, or whatever else we needed. His homemade breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. Marina Lounge Hostel is spotless and has a homey feel, with shops and restaurants close by in Ponta Delgada. Highly recommend it.
