Sofia was a great host. I accidentally left something in the apartment, and she kindly sent it all the way to the Netherlands. The rooms were nice and clean, and the location was handy, close to the airport. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

So modern and boujee, neat and clean, and close to everything. Helpful staff, too. 10/10, 100% recommend.

This was easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything needed to relax. The air conditioning worked very well, and the bathroom, shower, kitchen, and refrigerator were all in great shape. The staff were excellent. Housekeeping follows a schedule rather than coming every day, but when they do clean, they do a great job. They even neatly arranged some of our things, a level of care I rarely see at a hotel. We especially liked the spa, and the outdoor jacuzzi is now free to use. There’s also a nice range of local souvenirs and Azores-themed shirts on site. The hotel is around a 15-minute walk from central Ponta Delgada. With a car, you can drive closer and park for free, then walk about five minutes into the center. It was very practical and getting around was easy. Parking at the hotel was excellent, with convenient spaces in front and nearby. The view is nice, and sometimes you can watch planes take off and land. You can hear them a little, though it didn’t bother us. Very light sleepers might want earplugs, but most guests probably won’t have an issue. I honestly can’t think of anything to criticize. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Azores.

The airport is right next door, so you can hear planes taking off and landing outside. That’s handy for a short airport trip, though the noise is a downside. We also noticed some people dealing with addiction in the area. My wife and I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable, and I believe people facing addiction deserve respect and shouldn’t be judged. Others might feel differently. We enjoyed walking to the city center, mall, and local gardens, though most people probably won’t walk much. If you like cooking on vacation, we loved getting groceries at Mercado da Graça. For 20 Euros we got enough salad for days, plus local pineapple, passion fruit, and cheese. The accommodations were amazing, with friendly, helpful staff and rooms stocked with what you need, from coffee to bath robes and hot tub towels. There’s a rental car company on site, and renting through them was simple and hassle-free. I’d still want to stay here next time I visit.
