Casas da Levada

My sister and I had an incredible stay this month. The garden was beautiful, and I picked fresh tomatoes and herbs. Our little house was cozy and had everything we needed to cook. The weather in this part of the island was good for relaxing on the sunbeds or taking a dip in the pool. The location is gorgeous, though driving and parking here takes nerves of steel, like anywhere in Madeira.

The grounds are full of greenery, with bunnies, chickens, and ducks, and there’s a lovely sunset view. It’s so peaceful here that it’s easy to properly switch off. Our beautiful house was spacious and cozy, with everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. We got bread every day, and whatever else we needed was in the fridge or the shop. The Hobbit bar is a great idea, and the pool with its sun loungers was lovely. You can see how much effort the hosts have put into the place. We spent two weeks in Madeira, visiting lots of places and hotels, and have so many wonderful memories because we got married on the island. This stay will be another special memory. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much!

The four adult couples in our family had a wonderful holiday at casa de Levada. Our villa had a spacious layout, with room to relax on the couches or play games around the huge dining table in the kitchen area. We loved the greenery, views, design, location, and the nice breakfast. It had everything we wanted. There’s a beautiful walk you can start on foot from the house, vereda do pesquiero, listed on the AllTrails app. Gato Real bakery and o Farolim restaurant are also about four minutes from the restaurant.

Wandering through the gardens and seeing all the beautiful plants and animals was a treat. The place feels magical, and all the little details were lovely. We had a small issue, but the kind staff and managers sorted it out quickly. The service was great. What a stunning place to stay in Madeira!
