We stayed in the house with the bridge as its entrance, which gave us privacy. The owners told us its history, and we love old houses with a story. It’s spacious, spotless, cozy, and has all the amenities you need. The owners are generous, and the simple decor is really well done, with great taste. The house has such a positive feel. We’d love to come back for a week or more. I highly recommend it as a home away from home.

The mural in the studio is beautiful, and the decor is lovely. There’s parking, a pool, and an outdoor area, plus the location is great. The place has all the comforts for a good stay. Breakfast is plentiful, and the service was professional from booking through checkout. Recommended.

Quinta da Mata is a little paradise, with lovely views and a wonderful pool for relaxing in the sun. Our T0 was charming and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The thoughtful details and warm hospitality made the stay especially enjoyable. The mornings were a treat too: a delicious breakfast delivered to the room, with fresh bread, natural juices, milk, crunchy cereal, and tempting cakes. It felt like a feast and a lovely way to start the day. Be sure to try the excellent vinho verde made on site. We’ll definitely return.

Our house had a magnificent balcony with a breathtaking view, and it felt like our own little corner of paradise. It was a perfect spot to unwind and take in the peace of Gerês. The house was huge and comfortable, with thoughtful details, a carefully prepared breakfast, and a bottle of wine made at Quinta. All those touches helped make the place feel like our own. Sr. Hélder was a perfect host, so kind and welcoming, sometimes helped by two very professional little hosts. My husband and I will definitely come back.

The host was very professional, attentive, and friendly, and the breakfasts were delicious, plentiful, and varied. The apartment is superbly equipped, with great views in a very quiet area. It’s pet friendly, which matters a lot to our family. I absolutely recommend staying here, and we hope to return soon.
