The polite front desk staff did their best to help, but the building opposite reception has an underlying problem they couldn't solve. Its old central air conditioning barely blows air and cannot cool the rooms in summer. I checked four rooms, and they were all hot. Even the two staff members who came to check my complaints couldn't stay in the rooms without remarking on the heat. I booked this stay for my birthday and made sure to choose a room with AC because it was very hot that summer. When I arrived, the room on the top floor was unbearably hot, so I asked to move. The hotel has two buildings, and the other one appeared more updated, with mini-split AC. They shouldn't advertise AC when it doesn't work well enough to cool a room. I consider this false advertising. I got a refund through Booking, cancelled the stay, and drove home. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

The room was clean, and the place is right by the Roman bridge, with a bar and restaurant across the way. It's also directly on the Camino path. The toilet was the one downside: this trendy style is very uncomfortable and impractical. Ponte de Lima is beautiful.

The reception staff were helpful, and it's a great spot, but the room was cramped for two people, with too little storage for two suitcases. You can hear people in the next room very clearly, and the bathroom's hot water was only lukewarm. There was no fridge or water in the room. Breakfast was adequate, though items ran out very quickly, which was a shame given the location.

The room had a fair amount of space for two, and the bathroom was large. Breakfast was really good, with a standard continental spread, a lovely coconut cake, and plenty of drinks. Lunch and dinner are available too, but need to be booked. I forgot to take a photo of the room, so I hope the view in my picture gives you an idea of the place. The location is perfect, with a beautiful view and a lovely walk into the city centre. I've already recommended it to my family and will tell close friends too.

The room was tiny, but the view was beautiful. The location is great, the staff are friendly, and breakfast is good. The bathroom was nice too.
