We left feeling more like intruders than guests. My family had booked every house so we could have the whole complex to ourselves, and one house was supposed to stay unused. The owner didn’t honor that arrangement. Without warning, his son and his girlfriend showed up with a Bluetooth speaker and used the pool with us. The house I stayed in was clean, but it lacked some essentials, and the beds were a bit hard. There was no WiFi, which seemed surprising in 2022. The location was okay, though traffic could be heard from some houses. The rest of the property was well looked after, and the stay itself was okay.

The little apartment was lovely, with a kitchen set up for everything we needed. It’s a peaceful, beautiful place, and the owner lives right next door. He was very friendly and gave us a bottle of wine as a gift, already chilled and ready to drink. Really nice.

We stayed at Casa da Oliveira, at the second Casas do Picoutinho location, and loved it. Each house has a furnished porch, plus there are barbecues to use and a nice pool. The indoor and outdoor areas are clean and thoughtfully laid out, and the houses are beautifully decorated. Ponte de Lima is only five minutes away. Can’t wait to come back with friends and stay longer!

The host was wonderful, and the comfort he provided deserves thanks. The place itself is exceptional, with a peaceful feel, well-kept green space, and clean, nicely sized houses with everything needed. The grass looked fantastic, and there were several animals around, especially the lovely Luna. Great location and a beautiful setting. Congratulations!

There are several apartments in this area, so we expected the two we booked online to be close together. But nobody mentioned that the second apartment was at another location, 5 km away, with no way to walk between them. The place was beautiful and well maintained, but it didn’t work for our group planning to rent two apartments together.
