It was very busy when I arrived on Sunday afternoon, though by evening there were only four of us left. The showers and toilets were good, and Ana was friendly and very helpful. The site is beside the reservoir, but access was closed while I was there. You could still walk around the side of the campground to reach it. I imagine weekends can get busy.

We turned up on Friday with no booking and were lucky to get a pitch by the lake. The staff and the site were great. Lots of families were having a good time, but things were quiet by 10 pm.

We showed up on a busy Friday afternoon without a booking, and the English-speaking staff member welcomed us. The tent pitches are near the shower block, on hard ground that slopes a little. There were lots of people and families with boats to use on the lake, so I expect weekends and peak season are much busier. There's a bar, shop and swimming pool. A nice place to stay.

We spent a week camping with the kids and would come back, hopefully to find the toilets improved. The biggest toilet block was smelly and dirty, while the smaller one near the pool was clean and good, but had a queue because of that. Otherwise, it's an amazing setting, with the choice of a pool or river beach, excellent staff and a small shop on site. There are larger supermarkets and places to see or visit nearby.
