The cabin was small but cute, clean and comfortable, with really good beds. Just be aware that the small cabins have beds, a bathroom and an outdoor porch area, and that’s it. When the weather’s good, guests can use the outdoor kitchen by the pool. Carla was kind and helpful, and we asked her to make breakfast. She put together a beautiful spread. This was a peaceful, beautiful stop on our way to Porto, a little natural calm before the busy city. We’d love to go back.

The valley views and pool were lovely, and there’s a BBQ area too. It’s an ideal spot to relax or explore Alentejo’s culture and food. The hosts were friendly and clearly wanted us to have a memorable stay. The spacious facilities were well maintained. A real Portalegre gem, highly recommended for a getaway.

Stress seemed to melt away as soon as we stepped onto the property. Clean, dry air, fruit trees and flowering bushes everywhere, and a beautiful setting on a hill. The rooms and cottages were all beautifully appointed, and the host was charming. An absolutely magical place.

We loved our six days here with the family. It’s a wonderful place, with a super friendly host and a great breakfast, and it’s close to the beautiful city of Portalegre.
