A cosy place with friendly staff, good for relaxing with a book. There's a grocery store and a butcher nearby.

The breakfast arrived as a lovely picnic hamper, and it was delicious. Those croissants were still warm and especially good. The home was comfortable, with distinctive decor, air conditioning, cable TV, and an equipped kitchen. It was also spotless and very well maintained. Irene welcomed us warmly at reception and made us feel at home. The accommodation is on a pretty, quiet street in Amieira, close to Amieira beach. A lovely stay, and one I'd repeat.

The river beaches are one of a kind, and the scenery is beautiful. The village is lovely too, with hospitable, caring, and affectionate people. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. Maria is so sweet, and the house was exceptionally clean. I'll definitely come back, and would recommend a visit for a special holiday. 😍😍😍😍

The river beach is a five-minute walk away. The houses have Alentejo character, and although they're small, they're welcoming and the space is used really well. Amieira means a tree in damp ground. I'd happily come back for another stay.
