I appreciate that the hotel tries to keep things in order, but it’s in a residential courtyard and management seems to show no consideration for the neighbors. We hear tree trimming, lawn mowing, garden vacuums, and similar noise day after day, week after week, all year round instead of having the work done in an organized, one-off way. Living nearby, it feels like a travesty. The hotel also puts all its rubbish in bins meant for the residents of the buildings, so the overflowing dumpsters leave our courtyards littered with trash.

Getting around the complex is a pain, with long walks and lots of stairs to reach most apartments, no elevators, and no offer to help with luggage. The room itself was quite clean, but one smelled really bad and we had to argue quite a bit before they gave us another. The outside looks nice from a distance, though up close the place is old and dirty. There’s a lot of noise during the day, and it seems to be ongoing, as other reviews have said. We also felt it was unfair that staff charged us extra at the door when others in the same situation weren’t charged. Breakfast changed a lot from one day to the next, including which of the advertised items were available. There are big cranes and construction sites around the property, so I think the building work will continue through all of 2026, maybe longer.

We stayed in a studio apartment for a family holiday in September. It was a good size, with a small kitchen and appliances, and the location was great, about a 15-minute walk from the beach. But there was no internet in the room, which we really needed on holiday. Check-in only starts at 4 PM. We arrived around 11 AM after a long flight, with our exhausted 3-year-old who’d been awake since 3 AM, so that was far from ideal. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family with young children. The food was another letdown: not many choices, often undercooked, and pretty much the same each day. I’d give it 3 stars.

There’s a kids club, but ours seemed to be too old for it, so we didn’t try it, and it was closed every time we walked past. Club Jumbo looked good, with activities all day, but it’s only for French people. We still thought this was a very nice place, except for a couple of frustrating things. There was no air con in our room, and every day was over 30°C. Some nights it stayed above 18°C, even reaching 24°C, so we froze a pan of water and put it in front of a fan to cool down. Pool rules were also confusing. From Tuesday to Thursday, our children used inflatable rings twice a day, at around 9-10 AM and 6-7 PM, without any issue. Then on Friday, security suddenly said the inflatables were too big. Reception pointed to pool rules, saying that if one person used them, everyone would and the pool would get too crowded. But the notice on the wall only said not to use inflatables because they could give a false sense of security, and there are no lifeguards. Other people were told the same and complained too.
