Rochavau Hotel

The sunset is only a few minutes' walk away, and there's a lovely walk along the seafront too. We came to celebrate New Year and hope to return one day. The pool looked lovely, but at the end of December it was too cool for us to try. Inside, the rooms were clean and lovely, and the beds comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choice to get the day started, and the bar was a nice place to unwind with a good range of drinks. The staff greeted us warmly and were helpful with anything we needed at the hotel as well as information about the area. If you're staying in Portimao, this hotel is well worth considering. I couldn't find anything to fault.

Breakfast had tasty food and a good range of choices, and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms were quiet, clean, and serviced daily. The location was excellent too. My only small annoyance was the air conditioning in the breakfast area, which felt a bit too strong. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Rochevau is comfortable, welcoming, and good value, with a great location just a short walk from a beautiful beach. Our room was clean, the breakfast had a nice variety, and there was convenient free public parking nearby. Inês made the stay especially memorable. Her warmth, professionalism, and attentive service took what could have been a solid 4-star experience to a real 5-star one. She's a gem and deserves a raise! A couple of small things: the room doors could use an inside lock for privacy when guests don't want housekeeping to come in. There's also no ironing board, which isn't a big issue but could matter for a longer stay. With staff like Inês, I'd gladly recommend Rochevau to anyone visiting Portimão.

The breakfast could use more variety, and the choices don't rotate. Other than that, I highly recommend the hotel. The rooms are lovely and clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and any problems were sorted out straight away. The pool is salt water and cold, and a wonderful beach is close by.
