Jupiter Algarve Hotel – Beach & Spa

The staff were super friendly and cheerful, and we had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel looks beautiful inside and out, with spacious, spotless rooms that have a free safe and minibar, plus a laundry service. Rooms are cleaned every day, and towels are changed daily if you leave them in the shower tray. The covered pool has a dome, usually in place from November through the end of April. There’s a spa, though we didn’t try it. The restaurant is huge, with plenty of space and a big breakfast selection, from cereal to cooked food. We’d give breakfast 8 out of 10 because the cooked items could have been hotter. We didn’t have lunch or dinner, so can’t comment on those. Bar prices seemed about right, and my wife loved the mango daiquiri.

My wife and I have just come back from five days at Jupiter Hotel, and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and nicely presented. There was very little to complain about. I would have preferred a balcony, but that’s just my personal preference, not a fault with the hotel. We’d happily recommend it for a relaxing stay and plan to return next year, hopefully in May, since the weather wasn’t great during our visit.

The sea view made our stay extra special, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast had lots of tasty options. I enjoyed it enough to come back twice.

Jupiter Algarve Hotel & Spa - Praia da Rocha 💛✨ The spa was a real treat: calm, luxurious, and just right for resting and resetting. The pool is gorgeous, and the gym is properly good too. For the price, it felt like a lot. The place is spacious, spotless, and friendly from the moment you arrive, with a calm, relaxed feel. Breakfast deserves a big mention. There was smoked salmon, Parma ham, loads of breads, eggs every which way, pancakes, quiche (my favourite 😍), and even a full English if that’s what you fancy. One of the best breakfasts I’ve seen, and such a good start to the day. It’s just above the beach. The walk back up from Praia da Rocha is pretty steep, but it was fine for me with moderate fitness and worth it. Our first-floor view was mostly roof, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve slept in. I’m a terrible insomniac, though, so take that with a pinch of salt 😅. For food, Carninho was great for ribs and classic Portuguese dishes (I left a full Tripadvisor review 👌). Le Dolce Vita had delicious pizza, friendly, fun service, and a very unusual, tasty prawn starter 🍤. There’s also an Irish bar with a fab beach view. Say hi to South African Michelle if you see her! I’m the crab claw lady!! We took easy Uber trips to Alvor and Praia da Luz too. Top marks to Jupiter Algarve Hotel & Spa!
