My camera went missing while I was out for dinner. The police think there's a very high chance, over 90%, that my roommate was responsible. After I contacted the police and she learned there was CCTV footage, she suddenly left the room, saying she had a flight at 10 a.m. the next day. The timing and excuse seem extremely suspicious. There is no 24-hour reception, and if you arrive at night, you may not even get the key to the locker. When belongings are stolen from rooms, the hotel blames the guest instead of taking responsibility. A year ago, they replied to a negative review saying they'd installed new security cameras. But after a robbery this year, they admitted the cameras still don't work. What a lie. They ignore messages and won't cooperate with police investigations, hiding behind scripted apologies like, “Sorry, this has nothing to do with us.” The thief's privacy is fully protected, while honest guests' rights are ignored. When I posted a review, they privately messaged me asking me to delete it in exchange for a refund. How insulting. I don't need a petty refund while travelling. I want accountability. N S Theft. If you truly believe in doing what's right, I urge you to take responsibility. People don't forget actions like this. I'm deeply disappointed, but I'm still giving you a chance to make things right. Just contact the receptionist using your German phone number. If not, we'll see what happens. I'm seriously considering reporting this hotel to European consumer protection authorities. No traveler should be treated this way.

The location is good, and the place is very clean, with a pool and restaurant. I was travelling by bicycle and was about to go on a long-distance hike, so I wanted to leave some of my luggage for a few days and keep my bike somewhere safe. Before checking in, I asked about it, and the receptionist agreed to everything, so I was happy to check in. The next morning, I was told to wait for the receptionist. After about an hour, they still hadn't arrived, and another staff member then told me I couldn't store luggage past the checkout date. They'd agreed the day before and changed their mind the next morning, leaving me to spend another hour finding somewhere for my backpack. You can leave it at a cafe in a railway station. I wouldn't have minded paying extra for storage, but they weren't interested, so my money went elsewhere.

The reception manager, the girl from L.A (US), and the French blonde waitress were all so lovely during my stay. I was here for Afro nation portimao, and this was my second time staying here. I’m always happy to return. Such a refreshing, amazing place, I really love it. I’d recommend coming!

The breakfast was incredible, and the 5 euro price was absolutely worth it. Reception were friendly too. The beds squeak, though, and there wasn’t anything happening at the hostel while we were there. The pool shut at 8, the back area could use more light, and the showers had hardly any space to hang things. Their drains clogged easily as well.
