We arrived at Casa Tres Castelos on Sunday at 6:30 in the evening, hoping to stay for three days, but the apartment hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests and was in the condition shown in the photos. I tried the phone number and WhatsApp contact for Rental Valley from the booking confirmation and heard nothing for an hour and a half. With the kids with us after a long day, the flat wasn't suitable to stay in, and we had no assurance anyone would respond, so we had to find somewhere else. Booking.com still hasn't refunded the reservation.

The main issue here is the constant barking during the day. Residents put a dog out on a balcony every day, and it seems they even encourage it to keep barking. The condominium management hasn't been able or willing to deal with it, so there's no quiet time. I'd warn anyone considering this building and suggest finding accommodation farther away in Portimao, Portugal.
