T1 Praia da Rocha/ Paraíso Sol da Rocha 3

We stayed in a private apartment for a week in August 2025. Praia da Rocha's main beach was beautiful and only an eight-minute walk away, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants along the strip. The area was clean and really nice, and we loved it. The complex has had a recent glow-up and looks smart and very clean. The grassed areas are well kept, and there's plenty of shade under the trees if the sunbeds are full. The pool rules are strict: kids jumping in for fun are told to stop, and inflatables aren't allowed. On the plus side, towels can't be left on sunbeds unless you're actually using the pool, so there were still loungers available at 10am. There's a large bakery and restaurant, ‘Mel & Canela’, in the complex. They serve donuts, pastries and drinks as well as meals, and it's a great lunch spot, though the service is very slow. Next door there's a small coffee shop with bottled beer, soft drinks and snacks. Top tip, it's cheaper than Mel & Canela.
