Apartamento Vintage Porto

The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the Wi-Fi was fast. There was a TV too, though we didn't use it. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped, with a big living-room table that worked well for breakfast and evening chats. In good weather, you can see the whole city and the ocean in the distance. Walkers should be happy here, though getting to the center means a bit of walking each day. Coffee and pastries are 100 meters away, and groceries about 400 meters away; there's more shopping closer to the center.

The staff were excellent, friendly, and accommodating. From the hilltop, it's an easy, quick walk to the city center, and the parking lot is useful, though reserving a space ahead is a good idea. The food was okay but could have been more filling; that was fine for us since we walked into town anyway. The hotel has an old 1960s feel, but we found it charming. The elevator is very slow, and the rooms badly need renovation, though that'll probably happen in time. We were fine with our stay.

The hostess was attentive and very friendly, taking care of all our needs. The apartment is great for a large group, well located, and thoughtfully equipped. Highly recommend it.

A bright and comfortable apartment, just right for a few days with friends. When the weather's clear, there's a lovely sea view.
