Apartment Bolhão Market by Sweet Porto

I had a balcony with a table and chairs where I could sit and look out at Porto. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage, and the kitchen was well equipped. My room faced away from the market, so despite what others had said about noise from there, I wasn’t disturbed at all. Booking was straightforward, and the communicative, helpful team made the whole process easy. The apartment is opposite the market and worked perfectly as a base for my visit. It’s small, but I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were hard to fault, quick to reply and always happy to help. At night it was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. You’ve got pretty much everything you need right outside the door, and the apartment has most of what you’d want for a shorter self-catering stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Just keep in mind the stairs are steep and there’s no elevator, which could be difficult for some. Otherwise, it’s a cozy, charming apartment with good comfort and convenience. It’s right in the city center, handy for the market and main sights, with a bakery and specialty coffee shop just downstairs for breakfast or a snack. The kitchen and other equipment have what you need if you want to cook.

Very clean and right in the middle of everything. Since this isn’t a purpose-built apartment block, you can hear some noise passing between the units. Still, it’s good value for money. The staff at the hotel just around the corner were very helpful.
