I booked through Booking for a mid-July stay a few weeks ago. The apartment itself is fantastic and makes it easy to explore downtown Porto on foot. But there’s a huge, very loud construction project right above it at the moment, with work late at night and very early in the morning. Sleeping was really difficult.

The apartment was spacious, clean and great value. It’s right in the centre, yet quiet, and we had no trouble sleeping. We had a very good stay.

Sonia’s friend met us outside Porto Cardosas Story Apartment, showed us around and shared as many suggestions for food and things to do as we wanted. We could call or text him or Sonia whenever we had questions. We stayed from Sunday, May 22nd 2016 to Thursday, May 26th. The apartment was very clean, with a dishwasher, washing machine, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There was even enough room to change our 7 week old baby above the washing machine, and he really liked it there. Everything was walkable from this very central spot. We had a great stay, nothing to complain about, and would recommend it to anyone staying in Porto. Thanks a lot! Peter & Kathleen

The host was great, and the room was big and in a great location. There’s no air conditioning, but I didn’t really need it.

It’s been completely renovated, and everything about the place was great!
