We walked to most places from the apartment, which was spacious, comfortable, and much nicer in person than in the photos. It was sparkling clean, with a comfortable bed and couch and lots of pillows. There was a kitchen that looked well stocked, though we didn’t cook. We stayed on the bottom floor and sometimes heard noise from upstairs, but it didn’t bother me, even though I’m generally sensitive to noise. Rui was very welcoming and shared maps, recommendations, and ideas for things to do, see, and eat in Porto. I’d recommend the apartment for a holiday or even a longer business stay. I can’t recall whether there’s a work desk in the room, so I’d check. We’d definitely stay here again!

Having a metro stop nearby and a bus stop right outside made getting around easy. Rui welcomed us warmly, even though our flight was late and we reached Porto at night. He talked us through the city and shared places to visit and eat; his restaurant tips were especially useful. The room suited a couple well and had all the utensils we needed. Getting in was simple with codes for both the main entrance and our room. The apartment was spotless, with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, microwave, kettle, plates, glasses, and cups. There’s a bus stop and metro station close by, and the service was great.

The location made getting around easy, with the metro five minutes away and a bus to the beach nearby. We could walk to the city center in about 20 minutes, and the metro connects to the airport and train station. We stayed June 8-11, 2022, and Douard greeted us kindly and explained the city, with useful advice. Our top-floor room was bright, spacious, and clean, with air conditioning, a kitchen, water provided, soup, a hair dryer, and an iron. We were really grateful for how nicely everything was organized.

Rui, the owner, really goes out of his way with information about places to see and eat. The property is spotless and has a wow factor as soon as you enter. It’s a wonderful place to stay in Porto, and I’ll be recommending Casa da Figueiroa to my friends.
