The room for winding down after sightseeing was the outdoor area, with a glass of wine, and breakfast was great. I loved this luxury Guesthouse: it’s gorgeous, in a great Porto location, and the rooms are huge and beautifully done. The bathroom is INSANE! Service was impeccable, and we felt like family, just as we’d hoped when looking for somewhere that felt like a home. I did loads of research, so save yourself the time and book it. It beat my expectations. Thanks to the whole team for making the trip so memorable. We loved it ALL!!!

The restaurant team deserve a special mention. Breakfast was delicious, and when they heard we’d miss it because of our early flight after the third night, they offered to put together something light to take along. On our way out, there was a bag of breakfast items waiting for us at the front desk. Everyone was so kind. We stayed for three nights with our family of four. The room was clean, lovely, and spacious, and the staff worked around our schedule, including our very late arrival and early departure. We had a perfect stay and would absolutely come back.

We nearly added another day to our trip just so we could stay here longer. The rooms and dining room are beautiful, clean, and spacious. Breakfast comes with the stay, and all the staff know a lot about gluten-free and celiac needs. They also let us keep our bags in a secure place for a few hours after checkout since we weren’t leaving the city until evening. Very highly recommended.

The breakfast was a real surprise. Instead of a typical US buffet, it was a sit-down meal with lots of personal attention. When we had an early departure, someone from the café offered to pack bread and fruit for us. We’ve never had that kind of thoughtful service before. The hotel is close to everything, but feels calm and peaceful once you’re inside. I’ve stayed with Hyatt for years, and this property beats all my hotel stays in the US, Asia, and Europe. Our family of four got a generous room on the second floor, with a king-size bed and two bunk beds the kids loved. The shower was roomy and well designed. A few spots on the floor squeaked a little, the only small drawback.

Breakfast was incredible, and the croissants were the best I’ve ever had. I don’t usually choose a rate with breakfast included, but that’s what was offered, and I’m glad we did. This place felt like a hidden gem right in the middle of everything, with super friendly staff and an incredible room. And wow, that bathroom suite! After walking around Porto, relaxing in the tub was perfect.
