Miguel welcomed us warmly and shared tips that made our days in Porto even better. The hosts were lovely, and the whole place feels peaceful, with beautiful architecture and thoughtful details. Our room was spotless, airy, and spacious. Breakfast was prepared with care. A calm stay that stays with you.

We felt very welcome in this lovely neighborhood. There are riverside walks and plenty of restaurants nearby, and the tram makes it easy to get into town. The setting right along the Douro River is beautiful.

The staff were friendly, efficient, and so accommodating. The simple, elegant architecture and luxurious sheets made the place feel special, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had nice choices, and the quiet garden out back was a great place to spend time. They also have bikes for riding along the marginal. I loved this part of the city in summer, with the breeze by the water. It isn’t exactly the beach as described, but it’s not far from one, and there are lovely restaurants right on the water. The 500 bus makes getting to and from the center easy. I loved staying here.

Beatrix and Elena made us feel so welcome. The service was excellent, and there were lots of complimentary things like coffee and drinks that made it feel like home. Our room was spacious and clean, in a really quiet area. The Douro is close by for a nice walk along the river.

We stayed at Duas Portas for five days with our teenager and booked two rooms. It’s well situated for walks into the city or down to the beach, and the tram stop is only 20 meters away. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and keen to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was simple and very good, with simple being no fault at all. We’d definitely recommend it.
