The breakfast was delicious and enough for two, and the guesthouse is conveniently close to the Metro. The hosts are kind and friendly, with a very personal way of looking after guests. I’d highly recommend it.

The property is in an excellent spot, literally beside the subway station, and the staff were friendly. The room was very basic, though. The bed and bedding felt dated, especially the old, uncomfortable blanket. Sound insulation was the worst part, since every little noise from outside the room came through. Fortunately we were only there one night.

Passable. The location was okay and close to the metro, though there wasn’t much around. I’d told them I would arrive late, and they said it was no problem because reception was open 24/7. But when I got there, I waited outside in the dark for 15 minutes while the receptionist was asleep. They put me in the room right by the front door, literally a foot from it, even though I’d asked for somewhere quiet. It was LOUD, and I could hear everything.

I didn’t mind the room being fairly basic, and it was quiet at night. Great value, too. Marques station is so handy, with an easy 10-minute metro ride into the city center. I loved my stay here!

There are shops nearby for the essentials, and the place is clean, good value, with comfy beds and right by the metro station. The sound insulation could be better, and I’d have liked some hooks in the room.
