We spent two weeks in Portugal, visiting four cities and staying in five hotels, and In Patio was easily our favorite. Olga and Fernando were warm and sweet, and clearly cared about making guests feel welcome. They went out of their way to help us have a great stay. My favorite part was breakfast: Olga put together a thoughtful platter of meats, cheese, fruit, parfaits, and breads. We were the first in our Portuguese family to visit Porto, and we'll make sure our relatives stay at InPatio when they get their turn.

Olga and Fernando run this little place, and they were friendly and helpful. Their restaurant suggestions were spot on, so trust them on where to eat. The breakfast was excellent, with typical items like ham and cheese, plus fresh yogurt, fresh OJ, and good jam. There are just five rooms, all modern and new with big windows. The guest house sits on a tiny, quiet spur off the street, so despite being very central, it stays away from the noise. Highly recommended.

A lovely, quiet stay at inpatio guest house. The owners serving the complimentary breakfast was really sweet. I'd park at a nearby garage and get a ride over, since the mainsheet is busy. Once there, everything in porto is within walking distance.

The location is outstanding for exploring old Porto, its sights, and local places to eat. Breakfast was just right, with delicious yogurt, Portuguese ham and charcuterie, local cheese, and a great choice of fruit. Downstairs there's comfortable open seating for relaxing away from the room. Olga and Fernando are wonderful, friendly hosts, and the small guest house is a gem. My courtyard room was clean, simple, and very comfortable, and quiet at night. There was construction next door, but it was reasonable, starting no earlier than 7:30 AM and ending by 6 PM. This would be my first choice if I return to this lovely city.
