We spent far too much time and money getting to attractions and amenities from this property. It's well away from the main sights, which is a real drawback in such a hilly city like Porto. The bathroom was frustrating too. Water escaped from the shower onto the floor every time, making it slippery, and the toilet needed several flushes. For our four nights, management supplied just one toilet paper roll and two sets of towels. They refused when we asked for more paper and fresh towels. That lack of basic supplies and help made an already unpleasant stay worse. I'd look for somewhere better managed and more central.

The place was in excellent shape, very clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The neighbourhood is quiet, so getting a peaceful night's sleep was easy. The pillows were really uncomfortable. Location is something to think about too, even though it didn't affect my rating. If you enjoy walking uphill, it may suit you. With mobility issues or a need to use public transport, you might want to pay a bit more for somewhere central near the river. Porto is VERY hilly.

Everything was clean and check-in was easy, and the contact was excellent, with very quick replies. The apartment has a cute little kitchen, AC, a TV with all channels, a very comfortable bed and an amazing shower. There's also a free bottle of white wine. I felt safe behind the coded gate, and would highly recommend it.

The restaurant right beside this LovelyStay hotel was noisy all night, and my wife and I couldn't sleep properly any night we were there. The windows and door did nothing to block the sound. The door is just a single sheet of glass, which felt unsafe and let restaurant conversations come through clearly. I had a very bad experience and suggest people avoid LovelyStay. I'll also leave a negative review on Booking.com, where I made the booking.
