Limehome Porto Rua 31 de Janeiro

We were a family of seven and had booked three rooms for three nights. The biggest problem was that Limehome cancelled the third room two days before check-in and downgraded us to a backpackers inn at a different location. No one told me. I only discovered the change on the day we arrived, and suddenly had a logistical mess and was separated from my family. I had booked and paid for everything on May 9, 2025, completed online check-in on Nov 1, 2025, nine days before arrival, and received confirmation for all three rooms. I still don’t understand or accept Limehome’s explanation for cancelling one at the last minute. They didn’t start a refund on their own. I had to insist and work out the price difference for them, which showed no care for their customers. The two rooms we did get also had dirty floors, no spare floor mats, TVs that didn’t work, and dead air-con remote batteries. We had to take batteries from the TV remote. The location was great, but this downgrade was disappointing and completely unwarranted, especially before we’d even arrived in Porto.

The apartment was really clean, well organized, and we enjoyed both the unit and its facilities. There was a problem opening the door when I first arrived, but the service was great. A very good experience overall 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Getting inside took about four hours. I had to resend my documents four times, got soaked in the rain while trying to reach them, and eventually contacted booking.com to get the entry code. Inside, the sink seemed broken and wouldn’t drain, a bright oven light blinked all night, street noise was heavy, and a metal bar stopped the toilet seat from opening fully. I had a terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend this place.

I felt right at home here. A fantastic place for a family, friends, a couple, or even on your own. Well done, keep going, huge congratulations, parabéns 🔝🔝🔝🔝🇵🇹🇪🇺🥰
