Moov Hotel Porto Centro

We stayed five nights. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the train station, downtown, and the historic sights. The hotel was quiet and very clean, and the water refill stations were a thoughtful touch. The room was very cold because the AC wasn't working, so we couldn't turn on the heat. We asked for extra duvets, but what they brought were more like blankets. Breakfast was the other disappointment: mostly bread, no eggs, and hardly anything healthy. For that price, you can eat better nearby. P.S. The air conditioning really was not working, I can assure you. I've seen the same complaint in other reviews here.

I stayed three nights and thought it was a top hotel. The staff were very professional, the conditions were all good, and the price was nice. They cleaned the room without needing to be asked. One smart little touch was a scale for weighing your luggage before heading to the airport.

It's only minutes from São Bento Station and the historic sights, and works well for exploring on foot. The minimalist rooms were spotless, with comfortable beds and good soundproofing, so it stayed quiet despite the central location. The amenities are simple, with no minibar or kettle, but there are filtered water stations on every floor and a fresh, affordable breakfast buffet. The breakfast is all cold items, such as pastries and muffins. Staff were super helpful, and there's also an ATM on site. Parking is available, though the spaces are narrow for larger vehicles. A great budget-friendly option.
