For the price, I think this is a fantastic place. The hostel is beautiful, cozy, quiet, clean, and comfortable, in an old house near downtown. Breakfast is included and really good, and the staff were attentive. I'd never stayed in a hostel like it before. Joao was wonderful with me and gave me great tips for visiting Oporto, which helped me enjoy the city. Thanks, Joao. 😊 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Hope to come back soon!
There was no sign on the door, and it was very noisy. Breakfast was also very, very basic, so they should probably stop offering it. Not worth the money.

The owners were friendly, but the place left a lot to be desired. Nothing was comfortable, from the bed to the bathroom, and the cleaning service was nonexistent. Towels weren't replaced, and there wasn't even any toilet paper. We had to go and ask for it all ourselves, even though there was no reason for us to have to. They also said they'd come by to pick up the dirty towels, but never showed up once. We stayed for 5 days and I slept worse than I had in a long time. The place didn't feel welcoming, the breakfast was very poor, and it wasn't worth the price. The young man was very nice, but sadly I can't recommend this place and I definitely won't be back.
