The only real drawback was carrying 20 kg suitcases up to the fourth floor, since there’s no lift. Otherwise, it was just as described, very clean, excellent value, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a large apartment with everything provided, even a Nespresso machine and pods. Excellent location too. I’ll definitely stay here again next time in Porto.

You can walk to all the main attractions from this well-located place, and there are several car parks nearby if you’re driving. We chose one with a daily cap of EUR 20, since the others could come to around EUR 35-40 a day. Thanks for the hospitality. You’ll need to contact the landlord ahead of time to arrange how to get the keys at check-in and where to leave them when checking out.

The staff were excellent, happy to deal with problems and offer advice on sights and tours. The rooms are a great size and well equipped for eating in, with excellent bedding and a good bathroom. It was a great find in a fantastic central spot, an easy walk to the attractions and with lots of restaurants within 100 metres.

We’ve tried to get our refund for March-April 2020, when travel to Portugal wasn’t allowed during the pandemic. More than two years later, we still haven’t received it or heard back, despite emailing, calling and texting over 50 times. I know the pandemic was hard on businesses, but this has gone on far too long, and we may have to involve the credit card company. I’d avoid this place and choose somewhere that communicates. They never get back to you. :(
