Oporto Serviced Apartments - 1858

The rooms are small loft-style apartments, nicely decorated and really comfortable, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect! It's a little way from the main attractions, but that wasn't a problem for us. An Uber ride for around €5 gets you anywhere in minutes. Honestly, it was the best choice for our stay in Porto.

Oporto serviced apartment was otherwise a good stay, with a stylish, spacious and clean two-bedroom apartment called ESCURA, a balcony, a good price, a great location, and very good breakfast. We stayed from the 20th to the 23rd of this month. The geyser was the problem throughout all three days. It failed on the first night, and the caretaker couldn't repair it, so we went to bed without showering. It was reset the next day, and the technicians showed us how to do that ourselves. Each time it stopped working, resetting it got it going again. The caretaker, whose name wasn't given, said there would be some compensation, though he didn't say what. He disappeared after the first day and wasn't back on duty before we checked out on day four. The faulty geyser and the promised compensation that never came were the only issues.

The restaurant food was amazing and the menu had plenty of good choices. We also found the location really convenient, with lots of places only a short walk away. The staff were fantastic, especially Senor Silva, who sorted out everything we needed. A place I'd definitely recommend.

A comfortable loft with a nicely done design. The windows don't offer anything extraordinary by way of a view.
