Peach Hostel Suites

The hostel noise was a problem. The doors and walls don't block sound, so you hear people laughing or partying at night, depending on your luck. The private double room had a clean, comfortable bed and was a decent size. I liked having a baggage rack, and there was AC and excellent outside shutters. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled a little damp. Service wasn't great: at 4pm we rang the bell five times and waited a while before a man appeared at reception. The location is excellent, right by the metro, train, and bus stations.

The train station is only a few steps away, and at least the AC worked. The rest made me regret booking two nights. The bed was uncomfortable, the kitchen and bathroom were unclean, and one small shower and bathroom weren't enough for so many people. I kept having to wait for the toilet, and by morning there was no toilet paper. First and last time for me.

The location is convenient, a short walk from the train and bus station and an easy 25-30-minute walk to the main part of town. There's not much decent food nearby. I found the bathrooms gross, with broken shower heads, and there was basically one toilet for my floor of at least 16 beds. Each bunk had one outlet, so you couldn't leave the light on while charging anything. Mosquitos got me all night, and I killed about 20 of them. On top of that, there were bed bugs, and I'm still itching. If convenience and price are all you care about, it may suit you, but hygiene and cleanliness were seriously lacking. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Comfy mattress, good bedding and pillow, and a locker included. Check-in and checkout were easy, and there's a lovely outdoor area.
