The breakfast restaurant, reached through a door by reception, was a lovely place to eat. The food was high quality, and anything hot ordered from the kitchen was delicious. Service there was great too. Reception staff were lovely, especially Ricardo, who did everything he could to make our stay good. Our room was nicely decorated and pleasant, but the Deluxe triple felt too small for three. The third bed was an uncomfortable fold-out. We had no view, and tall neighboring houses looked straight in, so the curtains had to stay closed. A nearby bar was noisy late on weekend nights. We had to ask for toilet paper and coffee pods, and there was no conditioner available at all. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries, and there was no full-length mirror in the bedroom. The hotel sits at river level, so getting to shops, sights, or restaurants means walking uphill, including some steep steps.

We could easily walk from here into the center or around Porto, and the hotel is also on the route of tourist tram no. 1. Plenty of restaurants are nearby, including the hotel restaurant. We had a delicious meal at Taberna dos Carris, just a short distance away. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a stunning river view. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lots of thoughtful touches in the decor. Breakfast was a treat we looked forward to each morning. The staff really made the place special. They welcomed us with a handwritten note and port wine, greeted us each day, offered recommendations, and seemed to genuinely care about their guests.

The location made it easy to explore Porto on foot, and the room was comfortable and very nice. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was outstanding. I really enjoyed this charming place. I'd happily recommend it and would stay again on my next trip to Porto.

We loved it. The hotel is wonderful, with a spotless room and helpful, fantastic staff. Breakfast is served in a great dining room, and the restaurant also offers lunch and a fine dining dinner option. It's just across the road from the river, with an easy five-minute walk to either the Old Town or the riverside entertainment area. Cafes, bars, and restaurants are close by too.

We spent little time in the room, so its lack of a proper window didn't bother us much, but it felt a bit like a cave. Ours was at the back, with no real windows you could see out of, so bear that in mind if you want a view. The room was clean and well serviced, with a snack kitchen and plenty of equipment. There was a coffee machine, though a kettle would've been handy. The rooftop pool has great views and is a nice place to unwind. A small bar serves drinks for part of the day, but the water in the pool was very cold. We only got to use it a couple of times because we were out most days. The hotel is right on the waterfront and a short walk from the center, with the historic tram stop nearby. Staff were friendly and happy to help. We really enjoyed our stay.
