Stay Hotel Porto Centro Trindade

The beds were the best part for us, really comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel is near Porto's main tourist sights, and the staff spoke English very well, were polite, and helped with anything we asked for. There was annoying outside noise that made it hard to fall asleep. In one room, a bad smell came from the bathroom when the toilet was flushed or the shower water was turned on. Even with those issues, we had a great experience and were glad we chose this hotel.

We spent four nights here and enjoyed our stay. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast is well worth the extra cost. What you see on the website is what you get, so I'd recommend looking through it carefully.

We liked the location, with everything walkable and the metro just around the corner. The staff were friendly, but there were a couple of room problems. The drain smelled really bad in the first room, so we were able to switch. The smell was less noticeable in the second room, though it still came and went. I don't know if this is a general issue. The second room also had a faulty lock. We figured out a way to lock the door, but it wasn't fixed during our week there.

Most of the front desk staff were very friendly, and breakfast was decent. We couldn't get two beds, so we shared a Queen, which was very comfortable. Our room wasn't ready until 4 p.m., even though we arrived at 9 a.m. after an overnight flight. There was no hair conditioner, so bring your own, and the hair dryer was awful.
