Passeio de São Lázaro 5 by LovelyStay

At 6am we knew we couldn’t stay the other nights we’d booked, so we went to the company office. The staff were extremely polite and understanding, and we were able to cancel and get a full refund. That was after a truly awful first night. The mattress was terrible, with springs digging into my back. I woke several times and my partner didn’t sleep at all. Earlier, after we’d gone out to eat, we’d been in the room less than half an hour when a 6 cm cockroach appeared. We had to kill it, even though the whole situation disgusted us. We’d already thought the room looked smaller, dirtier and a bit worse than the photos when we first arrived to drop off our bags. We’d reserved four days, but we were upset and exhausted by the night’s end.
