The neighborhood is calm, beautiful and safe, with lovely garden space all to yourself and great places to watch the sunset. I wanted to get away from city heat, traffic and constant noise, and this house near Prazeres in southeastern Madeira was a perfect quiet retreat. There are two floors: downstairs has the dining room, kitchen and a bathroom. Upstairs is a cozy bedroom with a balcony, nice for a glass of Madeira wine in the evening. There's another dining area with a grill and a second toilet if needed, plus parking right in front. One thing to keep in mind: there are wild cats around, and they can be unpredictable, so don't pet them.

Our home in Prazeres was so cozy, with everything and more for a lovely holiday. Idalina, thank you for understanding when our flight was delayed and waiting for us to check in so late. We had a wonderful time, and I'd recommend your home to everyone.
