A really peaceful place to stay in a traditional “xisto” village. We had a great time, and the host was so kind. He showed us around the little village and made us feel very welcome.

We came in September for a quiet weekend and found the village well preserved and clean. It’s clear people care for it. Mr Tomé kindly showed us around the house and explained how everything worked, then gave us tips on where to eat and on the many river beaches nearby. One thing to keep in mind when arriving: most restaurants close around 9pm. There’s parking close to the houses. The houses have everything you need, and ours had a lovely backyard with great views and cats. There’s no wifi, which we actually found restful. Breakfast is kept in the fridge for the whole stay. It’s simple but enough, and they provide everything for bathing too. We also enjoyed finding a few books. The pool was clean and pleasant. Guests share it, and there’s a barbecue area with a large table for families or groups. We had a peaceful weekend and would definitely recommend it.

There’s a clean natural pool outside, though we couldn’t swim since we visited in winter. The little house was cosy and had everything we needed, with a large fireplace and free firewood adding to the charm.
