The beach is under a five-minute walk away, and there are shops and restaurants close enough to reach on foot. Inside, the apartment feels roomy, with modern touches and good appliances.

I've been staying here for more than a month and the staff have been really nice. Whenever an issue came up, they sorted it out almost straight away. There's a pool and a shared area, and the house has the basics for everyday life. The one thing missing is a washing machine.

The location is very good, and the communal pool is nice. We've been here for five of our seven nights so far, and the apartment is clean and a good size. The children love it here.

We were treated as if we were lying when the staff couldn't find our booking. We'd called to reserve an apartment more than four months earlier, but the receptionist made little effort to look for it and focused on proving us wrong. Then they wanted us to pay extra because they'd quoted us the wrong amount, which wasn't our fault. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

The staff are friendly and really helpful. We visit Alba Moura regularly and keep coming back for its location, with the beach, supermarkets and a wonderful fish market all easy to get to.
