We’ve visited Domes Lake twice before, and still think it’s an excellent hotel. Its spot just outside the marina is ideal, with the marina and beach both an easy walk away, and there’s plenty of free parking. Rooms are well equipped, and many look out over the grounds, lake, and surrounding boardwalk. Breakfast is a large buffet, with coffee brought to the table in flasks. It wasn’t always hot enough, and sometimes we had to wait for a refill. The in-room tea and coffee supplies weren’t replenished during our three-day stay. Dinner had an à la carte option or a small set menu with some packages, and the food was very good on this visit. A few things could be better: the indoor pool was too cold for a spa pool, which may explain why so few people used it. Some spa jets didn’t work, and neither did part of the ceiling lighting. Even with those issues, it’s a very nice hotel and worth a visit.

The staff made the place feel especially welcoming. Every person we met was friendly and helpful, and the hospitality was top notch. There are plenty of places to eat at the resort, a lovely bar, and even more choices around the busy marina next door. Facilities cover just about everyone, from the spa, gym, and sports activities to several pools, a small man-made beach pool, and a saltwater lake. The real, huge, beautiful beach is only a few minutes away on foot. Great for solo travellers, couples, and families.

We’re finishing up a five-day stay, and the grounds are beautiful, the room is nice, and the facilities are great. The start was a bit bumpy because of the air conditioning and breakfast service, but Daniela and the guest services team contacted us and took our feedback seriously. After that, they were very attentive. Daniela and the team checked in several times for the rest of our stay, and even left a lovely gift for our baby. We enjoyed our time here and would be happy to return someday.

My wife and children were so happy here, and we all enjoyed the buffet at Gustatio. The food was amazing, and the bar served great drinks. The pool and spa were excellent, especially the indoor pool where the kids could play. Outside, they had a maze, playground, and sports area to keep the children busy. We also enjoyed walking outdoors and at the beach, and caught live music on a few days. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and made us feel at ease. I’d definitely come back for another stay.
