We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom deluxe apartment in a quiet spot just outside Vilamoura Marina. It was in excellent condition and had everything we needed, including a roof terrace. The pool was lovely, with comfortable loungers, a snack bar and cafe. Restaurants are nearby, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to a supermarket and 30 minutes to the Marina. Would highly recommend.

The team were really welcoming and friendly. Our accommodation was clean and a little dated, but well maintained. They had no trouble accommodating our 9-month-old, and the travel cot they provided was pristine. Excellent value for money.

We had a lovely week and will definitely come back. The staff were all amazing, friendly and efficient. Our three-bedroom townhouse was beautiful, with two great upstairs bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and lounge, and a garden with a BBQ. The downstairs bedroom let it down, though: there was no storage, only two hangers in the wardrobe, no dressing table, too few sockets, and the en-suite shower was dreadful with no shelves for toiletries. We’re leaving today. The marina would have suited us better, since walking there with two young children wasn’t an option and we took an Uber or Bolt every night.

We were in a peaceful part of Villamoura, overlooking a golf course and lake with the sea in the distance. The gardens were beautifully kept, full of greenery and flowers. Our modern, spotless two-bedroom apartment had air conditioning, comfy beds and pillows, and three levels: both downstairs bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms and balconies; the middle floor had a large living and dining space, a well-equipped kitchen, a separate toilet and a balcony; upstairs was a huge veranda with sunbeds. Breakfast was fabulous, with hot dishes as well as continental options, and fresh smoothies every morning. We stayed in October, and because it’s a small complex, breakfast didn’t get hectic and there was no scramble for sunbeds. It was about a 25-minute walk to the marina, or around 6 euros by Uber. Being away from a busy resort might be the one drawback for some, but it didn’t bother us. We had a wonderful stay and I can’t think why anyone would find fault with these apartments.

I’ve just got home after a lovely week at this amazing resort. The area is so peaceful, the apartments are spacious, clean and lovely, and the bikes are free to use. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to welcome my friend and me, even surprising her for her 60th birthday. Thanks again for everything, Laguna Resort. I’d highly recommend staying here. 🙂
