The beds were comfortable, though the pillows felt a little too low for us. We also made good use of the outdoor pool and games room, and the host and staff were all friendly and welcoming. It’s a lovely spot for a few quiet days to reset, with helpful directions for getting there even with phone apps around. Breakfast came in a decent quantity, but could have offered more variety. We managed as vegetarians, though vegans might find it challenging. One thing surprised us: the towels were changed on day two even though we hadn’t indicated that we wanted them changed using the process on the card in the toilet. We also didn’t want to use the single-use plastic cup, but it had been opened for us.

We could use the pool whenever we wanted, and breakfast was served right beside it. The rooms had tasteful decor, and everything was excellent.

A peaceful, cosy place, kept clean and in a lovely rural Algarvean cottage style. The owner was really nice and helpful. The pool water was clean, and breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade apricot jam. I’d honestly recommend it.
