It’s good stuff.
The location worked really well for us, close to the historic center, with bus stops and the famous tram 28 right outside. We also found parking in the green zone very affordable, and you can leave the car there for up to 4 hours. The apartment was cozy and comfortable for our family, and we were treated very well.
It was peaceful, and the iconic Lisbon tram stop is right across the street. The apartment had plenty of space, was very comfortable, and came with everything we needed. There were also plenty of places to eat nearby. Highly recommended.
Exploring Lisbon by tram and funicular is a lovely way to see how much the city has to offer. I’d set aside six days for sightseeing. The Expo 1998 district is a must, and you can take the train to Estoril and follow the coast towards Caicais to visit that magnificent village. Sintra deserves a day too. Photos aren’t allowed inside the town, so check that you can buy them in the shop. Some of the exterior paintwork could be better, but it’s still worth seeing, and the rest is beautiful. Before catching the train back, visit the village. There’s plenty more to see on the other days as well. My one criticism is about the magnificent old boat I saw in Cacitas. I hope it gets moved to Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square) one day, where it would be much better showcased. It certainly deserves that. Have a wonderful stay!
