The owners were so helpful, and the property is kept in great shape. We were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful place for a second time, with those stunning views all around. We hope to make it back for a third visit in a few years!

We could sit looking out at the ocean for ages, and the pool was fantastic too. It’s also a great spot near Furnas. The hosts made us feel so welcome, with fruit, wine, and water waiting for us, and they even brought fresh buns in the morning. The house was spotless, and the staff were super friendly. A fantastic hidden gem, maybe the best place we’ve ever stayed. Definitely five stars!

We rented the two-bedroom apartment at Casa do Lado, up on a hillside with a lovely view of the Atlantic Ocean and the local fishing harbor. The owner gave us such a warm welcome, and the housekeepers were friendly. We had a wonderful time there.
